FAQ
Lightroom Presets
What are Lightroom presets?
Lightroom presets are saved edit settings that you apply to a photo in one click.
Instead of starting from scratch every time, a preset gives you a polished, consistent look instantly.
Yantastic presets are built from Peter Yan’s real edits, developed over years of travel, landscape and urban photography, so you get the same colour style he uses in his own work.
Why should I choose Yantastic Lightroom Presets?
These presets come directly from Peter Yan’s (@yantastic) workflow and colour palette, refined over thousands of images. They are designed to:
Save you time editing
Help you achieve a clean, professional look
Build your confidence with colour and tone
With over 1 million followers across Instagram and TikTok, Peter’s edits have been tested on a huge range of real-world photos. You will be surprised how much your photos can change with a single click.
Do the presets work on both mobile and desktop?
Yes. All Yantastic Lightroom preset packs include mobile and desktop files:
Mobile: Lightroom Mobile app (iOS and Android)
Desktop: Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic (v7.3 or later) on Mac and Windows
So you can edit on your phone, tablet or computer with the same look.
Do I need the paid version of Lightroom?
You can use the mobile presets with the free Lightroom Mobile app, which you can download from the App Store or Google Play.
For desktop presets, you will need an active Adobe Lightroom subscription (CC or Classic).
Are they easy to use if I am a beginner?
Yes. Most customers are beginners or enthusiasts who simply want better edits without learning everything from scratch. You will also get:
A step-by-step visual guide
Short video tutorials showing you how to install and start using the presets
If you ever get stuck, you can contact support and we will help you out.
Will my presets expire or stop working?
No. Once you purchase, you can use the presets for as long as you like.
We recommend backing up your files so you never lose them. Please keep them for personal use only in line with the terms of use.
What if I lose my presets or the download link?
No stress. If you lose access to your files, just email us with your order details and we will resend your download link.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Because the presets are instant digital downloads, we cannot offer refunds once the files have been delivered. However, if you are not happy or are struggling to get good results, please contact us and we will do our best to help you.
FAQ
Video LUTs
What are LUTs?
LUTs (Look-Up Tables) are colour profiles that apply a consistent look to your footage in one click.
They’re designed to turn flat or desaturated video into clean, cinematic colour without needing advanced colour-grading skills.
Yantastic LUTs are built from Peter Yan’s real colour workflow used across travel, aerial, automotive and commercial shoots.
What types of LUTs do you offer?
iPhone Apple Log / Log 2 LUTs
Designed specifically for iPhone models that shoot Apple Log or Apple Log 2:
iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max
iPhone 16 Pro / Pro Max
iPhone 17 Pro / Pro Max
These LUTs transform flat Apple Log footage into a balanced, cinematic Rec.709 look.
Drone LUTs
Created for major drone brands and their Log formats, including:
DJI Mavic 3 / Mavic 3 Classic / Mavic 3 Pro
DJI Mavic 4 Pro
(and other DJI drones that support D-Log)
Note: These LUTs are created for D-Log footage. While they may work on other log profiles, best results are achieved with DJI D-Log.
Do these LUTs work on normal iPhone videos?
No.
iPhone LUTs only work on Apple Log or Apple Log 2 footage.
How to tell if your clip is Log:
Looks flat, grey and low contrast → Apple Log (supported)
Looks normal and contrasty → Not Log (not supported)
Which apps and editors support these LUTs?
You can use Yantastic LUTs in any editor that accepts .cube files, including:
Desktop Editors
DaVinci Resolve
Final Cut Pro
Adobe Premiere Pro
After Effects
CapCut Desktop
Avid (with LUT support)
iPhone/iPad Apps
LumaFusion
VideoLUT (iOS)
Final Cut Pro for iPad
CapCut (desktop only supports .cube; mobile does not)
VN Editor (desktop supports .cube; mobile does not)
Monitoring (not editing)
Blackmagic Camera App for iPhone
You can preview your footage with the LUT
The LUT is not baked in unless you choose to
Are the LUTs one-click?
They are designed to look great instantly, but every scene is different.
You may still need to adjust:
Exposure
White balance
Saturation
Shadows/highlights
The LUT gives you 80% of the look, and you fine-tune the last 20%.
