Some of the LUTs are great! It would be nice to list for each LUT what changes to color, contrast, tone (like more blue and green), etc. Your video was also very good!

Apple Log and Apple Log 2 are both flat colour profiles on iPhone Pro. The footage looks grey until you grade it — and that is the point.
The iPhone Apple Log LUT Pack by Ypresets works on both profiles with the same LUTs — there is no separate Apple Log 2 set. ProRes or HEVC both work when the clip is actually Log.
Supported phones: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Love the presets! Additionally, these presets are designed in a way where if you tweak colors, intensity and all other changes, it will still have that specific look you desire!

Wide choice of colouring your Apple Log footage. You need to dive into the few settings on the Blackmagic Camera app, then it all works great. I prefer to preview the LUTs in the app, then apply whatever I like in postprocessing.

Awesome luts! Work best on apple log. Shot the vid here with an iPhone 16 pro 4k, with the Lut #5 on Black magic app. These luts w/ black magic app have INSANELY increased the level of quality of content im making.

The LUTs were very easy to use out of the box and look great as is (although I’m sure further tweaking could net even better results) Definitely excited to use these and play with them more going forward.

I really love the set, however I noticed that there are only about 2 sets compatible with people’s skin tone that doesn't over exaggerate the way I and others look, either making us too pale, too blue, or simply too dark, I would hope to see more presets that puts people into perspective too.

FAQ
Does this work on iPhone Duo?
Apple announced iPhone Duo, but the official Duo pages don’t mention Apple Log or Log 2 yet.
Don’t use this pack on Duo until Apple confirms Log support and your clip is clearly flat and grey. For normal Duo video, use iPhone Cinematic LUTs instead.
What is Apple Log and why should I use it on my iPhone?
Apple Log is a flat colour profile on iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. It keeps more highlight and shadow detail than standard iPhone video, but the clip looks grey until you grade it. That is the point. You get a cleaner starting point, then one LUT brings the colour back.
Which apps can I use these LUTs with?
Any app that loads a .cube file and can handle Apple Log or Apple Log 2.
Desktop (fully supported): DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut desktop.
CapCut mobile cannot load .cube files. Use CapCut on a computer, or another app above.
iPhone apps (fully supported):
Blackmagic Cam App (recommended): import the .cube, then either bake the LUT in while you record, or shoot Apple Log / Apple Log 2 and use the LUT only for monitoring.
LumaFusion, VideoLUT, LUT Studio, PeekLUT.
If the app accepts .cube and the footage is actually Log, it works.
Do these LUTs work with Apple Log 2?
Apple Log 2 is Apple’s newer log profile — same idea as Apple Log (flat, grey, more dynamic range), just an updated version. This pack works with both Apple Log and Apple Log 2 on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Apple lists Apple Log 2 for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the same LUTs in this pack work on it. One pack covers both profiles. For a fuller comparison, read the Creator Lab guide: Apple Log vs Apple Log 2 — which looks to use.
Which iPhones can record Apple Log?
iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
If the phone can record Apple Log, this pack works. A non-Pro iPhone cannot shoot Apple Log. A Pro that is not shooting Log also cannot use this pack.
Do I need to shoot ProRes, or do these LUTs work with normal iPhone videos too?
Important:
These LUTs only work with Apple Log footage. They won’t work on normal iPhone videos.
How do you know if your video is Apple Log?
Super simple:
If your video looks flat, grey and low-contrast → it’s Apple Log.
If it looks normal and colourful → it’s not Log.
If your footage isn’t Log, these LUTs won’t apply correctly — because normal iPhone videos already come pre-coloured and baked in.
These LUTs are designed for Apple Log footage, and Apple Log can be recorded in either ProRes or HEVC (H.265) with apps such as Blackmagic Cam. The colour result will be the same no matter which one you choose.
I have a Pro iPhone. Which pack do I buy?
Look at the clip, not the phone. Flat and grey → this pack.
Regular Camera-app look → iPhone Cinematic LUTs. More detail: Apple Log vs Apple Log 2 guide.
Are these LUTs beginner-friendly?
Absolutely.
These LUTs convert Apple Log to a clean, cinematic look with one click. You don’t need to be a colour grading expert – just apply the LUT, adjust exposure and saturation if needed, and you’re done.
Can I use these LUTs for client or commercial work?
Yes. Your purchase includes full usage rights for personal, commercial, paid and client projects. No extra licence needed.
Why does this pack cost more than other LUTs?
How much would it mean to you if every video you shot on your iPhone looked noticeably better and more cinematic, like it came straight out of a film? This one pack of 18 LUTs was made for iPhone Log footage and works on both Apple Log and Apple Log 2. Drop one on a flat, grey clip and it turns into something that feels like a film, in one click. You pay once and keep it forever, so every trip, every project and every little moment you film from here on gets that same polished look. We think that's pretty good value 🙂
How do I install the LUTs?
After purchase you get a quick-start installation guide as well as short video tutorials. The files also arrive by email and at account.ypresets.com. Under a minute.
Not shooting Apple Log?
The iPhone Cinematic LUTs are officially here.
You can now transform standard iPhone footage into professional, film-inspired masterpieces with a single tap.
